Franc
It opens with aromas of crushed blue flowers, blackberries, and pipe tobacco that give way to an elegant, structured, and polished palate. It delivers intense prune and dark chocolate flavors brightened by fresh acidity alongside smooth, velvety tannins.

In the Cellar
“According to the international reputation and when compared with top-quality Francs made in other parts of the world, it is considered globally as one of the best Cabernet Francs currently available. It beautifully shows the gummy plum jam aroma typical of ripe, big francs, which is further accentuated by the blackberry background of the few percent of merlot that was added. Although made from perfectly ripe grapes, there are no signs of overripeness. Characteristic, masculine but without over-pronounced acid and tannin. Its greatness is that it simply has everything perfectly in place. It can be paired with everything from cold appetizers to heavy meat dishes, but it is also a tireless companion even to long conversations. ”
About the winery: Jammertal
‘Achieving the right quality for us is extremely necessary for manual viticultural work. It is essential to closely monitor the precise performance of the required tasks. These, together with the strong yield limitation, are the cornerstones of our world-class viticulture/oenology. Our day-to-day relationship with the vines — along with the winery’s similarly scrupulous, detailed daily work — shows the true craftsmanship in winemaking.’
